Massive shot that knocked out a fighter that has taken many hard shots from all time greats. This was no Corley or old Mosley... Floyd would be out dude.

Actually to have Floyd out of there, Hearns would first have to get him in there, and there is absolutely no way Floyd would have ever taken that fight.. So I stand corrected.

 

It's within the realm of possibility that Floyd would have been laid out cold by that shot, but there's no evidence to suggest that it would have knocked him out.

Considering that Floyd has never been down or knocked out in his career, we can safely say that he would have taken that shot with great possibility

So blurting out that statement is ridiculous and completely wrong.

It is safe to say, IMO from what I have watched, the shot landed on Duran by Hearns would have ended Floyd for the night.

This is Hearns we are talking about. I have seen Floyd rocked enough by lesser punchers to really doubt how well he could take a huge shot from The Hitman.
