Aoki got what he deserved, K1 almost did.

It was great to see him get KTFO. His cheating annoyed the **** outta me. But you dont want to see anyone get ****ed up and he was ****ed up after that KO

 

Totally agree. I have to say I found it quite satisfying when Aoki was knocked unconcious 5 seconds into the MMA round. I like a lot of Japanese MMA but these freakshow fights, or whatever you want to call them, just don't do it for me. In fact I thought Dynamite this year was a bit of a let down despite some decent fights on the card.

 

Aoki definitely got what he deserved!

I just wish the cross-dresser got what the same thing.

I see guys in drag where I live but that nagashima is just too much.

dressing up like a little girl is very disturbing.

I am embarrassed for him, I have seen him get his ass kicked but I will have to see him beat up a few more times to be satisfied.

As for Aoki, he has done some dirty **** in his day the fight where he broke his opponents arm then gave him the finger was too disrespectful for me. I couldnt be a fan of his after that.

I only wish overeem would have jumped in the ring and brutalized both of them.

I think every fight should have the option for sudden death, where the fans press a button if the action is lacking, if the majority of them do Ubereem comes up through the bottom of the ring and goes into berserk knee smashing mode!

Just punishment for wasting our time.

I don't mind the weirdo matches that Japanese MMA puts together. In fact I actually like it. Problem is Aoki is just a douchebag and wouldn't follow the rules. I loved seeing him get toggle switched.

As for the japs dressing like women................. apparently thats the "In" thing over there now a days. Japanese people are insane.

The finger is the only negative thing I'v ever seen Aoki do, the guy getting his arm broken was 100% his own fault as he had ample time to tap but didnt.

I don't mind the odd freakshow fight but I think Dynmaite showed one of the big problems FEG has always had promoting MMA, certain elements(I'd guess the higher up K1 guys rather than the ex DSE employees) simpley do not respect the sport. Ontop of the dependancey on freakshows you look at pretty much every MMA/K1 crossover thats been booked by them and almost universally its been clear it was to push K1 over MMA(even if it often backfired). These elements seem to have gotten alot stronger over the last year or so aswell as Dream's fortunes have wained.

I don't blame Aoki for his antics in the first, booking a guy with pretty much no standup in a kickboxing match was just asking for trouble. If he'd been some freak with no other career maybe they could have expected him to go out on his shild akebono style but a quality LW was always going to do everything to avoid that.

If they wanted this match it should have been MMA from the start and if Nashigima had gotten the early KO it would have been a much more satisfing result.

It had nothing to do with K1 or MMA. As soon as Aoki came to fight he got put to sleep.

I really used to like aoki too, but then he did what he did after the Mizuto Hirota fight changed my perception of him, and made me no longer a fan of his.

I dont know moreorless, that seems enough of a dick move for me to dislike him based solely on that one incident.

your right however, if you dont tap you force your opponent to make the choice between releasing the hold or to go ahead and break it your arm. That is the risk you take when you refuse to tap.

Still Aoki went too far.
