What a huge disappointment that GGG won't be fighting Andrade next.

The difference being that we all know Canelo will fight the best. Nothing wrong at all in taking soft touches in between tough opponents.

Ggg has only had two tough opponents and Jacobs was supposed to be am easy KO win that ended up being near disaster.

I think after the Jacobs fight GGG became even more cautious of high risk low reward type opponents than he already was.

I think GGG would definitely be the clear favorite.. Question is why tf doesn't Triple G fight him for the belt?

Andrade has let me down time and time again as a pro in regards to the fights he has called for compared to who be actually has fought. But, I'll ALWAYS back him, ive known him since he was a little kid and watched him develop into a star US amateur.

I will say this, Andrade has the exact and specific skill set, talent, athleticism, and height/reach to really make GGG look BAD. Stylistically he is potentially GGG's biggest nightmare in boxing at MW. Matter of fact, he has the skills, talent, athleticism, and height/reach to beat ANYONE at MW, possibly to even probably with relative ease. He's also been a big underachiever up to this point and consistently loses focus in his fights, coasts in some fights, has shown a lack of a killer instinct and a propensity to being totally risk averse. And with his style and the way he fights, every fight he is in, hes a potential KO waiting to happen and the older he gets, if he doesnt adapt and change his style and become much more technically sound and proficient as opposed to relying on his athleticism, reflexes, speed, and talent, he WILL almost assuredly get posterized KO'd in the maybe not too distant future.

Andrade is the type of guy capable of beating anyone in his weight class and probably even anyone within 1 weight class of his own if he is on and focused. But hes also the type of guy to get spectacularly upset by a fighter not even 1/3 the fighter he potentially is when hes on and by a fighter who couldnt hold the jock strap of most of the fighters he'd probably beat.

His entire career -- pro and amateur -- hes been plagued by inconsistency and when his career is over I'm willing to bet he has some excellent and exceptionally dominant wins over very good to great opponents but also losing at least 2 to maybe 3 fights in spectacular fashion to much lesser fighters than he and his best scalps are.
