The Joe Louis story is indeed tragic.
From being hounded mercilessly by the taxman and being basically forced to fight to earn money, to being almost suckered into becoming addicted to heroin and cocaine later in life, to experiencing some sort of dementia and paranioa (his father was committed to a mental hospital and many thought Joe inherited his father's mental conditions) and thinking the government were trying to kill him, to the last years being confined in a wheel chair and being very ill.

    Very tragic.

I don't think Tyson's story is sad at all. Just indicative of what can happen when an immature young man, who also happens to be the best fist fighter on the planet, is given mind boggling amounts of cash and attention.

I'm sure he wouldn't change it. As he said in a press conference "I'm gonna make sure your kids and grandkids all know about me" - or something close to.

Well we all know about Jack Dempsey. Tyson is a legend, his tale more tragic, than sad.
