Murray and Groves is a cracking close fight... I think Murray wins

    But apart from that its

    AJ in a mismatch
    Eubank Jr in a mismatch
    Whyte in a Mismatch
    Connor'the bum' Benn
and family Fortunes/Subway/ celebrity on Ice's finest .. the Bum Ogogo

    Terrible Card.

Its disgusting, how on earth is this a PPV event?

Sky Sports have made a mistake with this in my opinion but all I can think is they are going to give Joshua everything he wants because Hearn has mentioned a few times about his contract expiring next year so they have to keep him happy and have to make sure he signs a new deal.

So Joshua has to be a PPV star for Matchroom and Sky, they can't have it any other way.

I honestly believe this event will flop.

I can't see how this event breaks even, Groves and Murray is the best fight but is certainly not a PPV fight and Joshua and Breazeale is a mismatch and they are just not charismatic enough to make this remotely interesting.

Also I have been offered quite a few tickets for this, I think the boxing fans who bought tickets expecting a very good undercard (as promised) have been mugged and know they have been mugged.

To break even you are talking 100-150k buys which it should do easily.

Sky have no real other PPV fighters currently (bar perhaps Brook) so if Joshua gets beaten or injured they are in a real bind.

Surely the money from sponsors/advertising is vastly reduced for a PPV event?

    It will do fine.

It's not remotely PPV worthy of course, but it will take a while before British people are so fed up with this bull that they'll stop buying that s__t.

I'll be out. Will make an effort to find a pub for Groves Murray. Not bothered about the rest

:think You may well be right, the undercard is so poor I can't imagine that cost Hearn much.

But I wouldn't be surprised if this event is shunned though, like I said people are trying to dump tickets. I buy most PPV events but I've not even thought about buying this.

I would have liked to have watched Groves Vs Murray but it's not a fight I'd cancel plans to see and the rest of the card is a joke.

And I agree, Matchroom have quite a few world champions but the only one they can really justify as a PPV fighter is Joshua (if he is in big fights with big names) and if he gets lamped anytime soon then they will have a problem.

Casuals don't care about a mis match. As long as they see a big name in each fight eddie knows for a fact this will make big numbers!
