Everyone is calling out Ricky Hatton right now, especially after seeing how many tickets the guy sold in only 48 hours. There is no other 147lber who can generate that kind of money, no one!

true. hatton even earned more than floyd in their fight after floyd foolishly gave all the UK ppv share to hatton. that's why floyd want's to do the same to pac by wanting to have all the PPV share in their fight but pac is not an idiot like him.

did hatton get all uk ppv?

if so thats an awesome deal. That fight sold a rediculous amount, an part of the reason was because of Mayweather.

That was the biggist british ppv of all time.

I think the reason everyone is calling Hatton out is due to rust and the result of his last fight.

Yet Pac continues to let Arum milk the hell out of him for years. And Floyd ends up earning more than Pac annually. Your logic fails miserably.

it was widely reported here that floyd foolishly gave the UK ppv to hatton thinking that it's not much relevant settling for a bigger split. that's why team pac was so eager to get a share of the UK ppv as well when they fought hatton.

US ppv for floyd-hatton fight did around 875k but it drew around 1.2M + in England. that's why hatton ended up with more money after the fight.

i'll try to find it later coz i'm posting on my phone. it was an article explaning why pac's team wants a 50% share of the UK ppv as well. might be a little hard to find since it was more than 3 years ago.

It's worth pointing out that at today's exchange rate the fight was sold in the UK for around $24 full price, quite often back then you could book early for around $16 but I'm not sure if that had gone by the time this one come in.

So while Mayweather may have sacrificed the UK PPV to keep the American one it wasn't the worst deal for him.

Golden boy and Mayweather didnt realise that Hatton and sky were PPVing the fight in the UK and also Hatton had a very good % deal with Sky.

Everything is always about casino site fees and huge HBO PPV success, they didnt know- even De la Hoya and Floyd , how much of a little empire Hatton had created over in the UK.

usually a fight at 4am is bought by rights and played on air for free with the time difference and all,

Hatton turned that into over 20 million dollars and kept it
