Apparently Amir Khan gave Teofimo Lopez the blueprint on how to handle Lomachenko

but theres no reason to believe khan is even at the level of the worst ones. i have never heard khan talk and thought to myself "this dude knows his boxing". not on the level of a trainer. plus, khan is just not a smart dude. hes pretty simple, to be honest. not saying he dont get one right once in a while, but you dont rely on his advice when fighting a p4p guy. thats a level above khans reach.

he never broke out of his predictability. a fighter with good timing was almost always guaranteed to hurt him. he had fast hands, but his rehearsed flurries were predictable and could be timed by top fighters. its like he had a set of combos he liked throwing and once you got used to the rhythm of it, you could see where the holes were.

I agree he fell in love with his power and that impeded his growth as a boxer

Well, the blueprint didn't work all that well, when Lomachenko became Lomachenko, now did it? Since Teo lost 5 of the last 6 rounds. Teofimo lucked out, because Loma went into the fight injured, Loma took it easy for 6 rounds, took few chances and figured he could close strong and stop him late. Well... it was a terrible game plan.

In the 11th round Lopez got dominated but adjusted towards the end by going to the body continuously and finished the round with the momentum and carried that momentum in the final round by hurting Loma, outlanding Loma and winning it. There's a reason Loma didn't want to risk it early. I favor Lomachenko in the rematch by decision but don't be suprised if Lopez catches him eventually as he opens up

Yeah, that had less to do with Lopez adjusting and Loma getting desperate going for the KO, leaving himself open. Regardless..... in no way, shape or form did Khan had nothing to do with the success Lopez had in that match.

What are you trying to say? Everything his said there about the jab was basic, what about going to the body? Khan has never fought the way Teo fought v Loma, he`s too open and would have been out-classed, Teo would have destroyed Khan.

He got sparked so much because he used to get caught flush because of bad schooling, all Khan had was speed.

Khan`s KO percentage was really poor.

Better than what? Khan was nowhere near Loma`s level in the amateurs.

Agree but he hurt people and then refused to learn how to finish with out getting caught
