Apparently in 2022 George Chuvalo had advanced dementia, but he seems sharp in this 2022 interview

If you look at this 2022 interview he seems sharp, but on Wikipedia, it says he had advanced dementia in 2022.
    What’s your explanation to this?

    The IV wasn’t in 2022.

George refers to Ali as still living and mentions having seen Ali just a few months prior on Ali’s birthday. Ali passed on 3 June 2016.

George is six months away from turning 88 years old, considering the punishment he took in the ring it would not at all be surprising if he at this stage of life he does have dementia. I did see an interview with him not too long ago in the last 10 years or so and he was surprisingly extremely lucid. He’s had a hard life I wish him nothing but the best.

No he's definitely got dementia and quite severe now, I've seen a few articles talking about him.
But he's still going, like a warrior.
