Usyk 2 was August 2022, AJ just spent two years on a tomato can rebuild to build some confidence back and he got his ass handed to him in the first legit match up, just put him back in with a top contender.

Dubois-Parker next then. That will be a good fight. The 2 most improved fighters in the division.

lol Frank is so nice when he is drubbing matchroom. He has the strut of a teenager.

Eddie must be quietly happy that Frank said that. Or maybe Turki pays so well they just listen to him.

Is Turki actually Arabian royalty or just a politician?

Well, I was commenting on getting back in there with Dubois. I see another KO, which pretty much ends any hopes of a Fury mega fight. Unless Fury loses to Usyk and they have a cross roads type match, which would be greatly diminished but may still sale well.

Agreed, although it is harsh on Usyk if he loses and doesn't get a trilogy fight.

I can't see AJ making a decision of the next fight until next year anyhow, Fury / Usyk barring a draw will be said and done and if Fury has the belts they can make that fight.

Dubois as the champion will probably have a rematch clause against every other voluntary challenger with AJ being the only exception due to him being the golden boy

It seems pretty clear that there was a rematch clause, they are just opting NOT to exercise it. ;);)

And they don't want to come out and say that. So, they say it's one of the fights they could take.

If Fury wins the return with Usyk, that'll be the fight they JUMP all over.

Hearn keeps insisting Fury-Joshua is still the "biggest" fight ... but he's not telling the truth.

It's still a huge fight in England, because they are Brits.

But Joshua getting dropped five times and losing all five rounds to Dubois before getting starched doesn't exactly make it a global event.

    Right.

Which people like to overlook now but it's proving to be a problem.

Dubois doesn't need a fight with Parker, he's already in line for the winner of Fury Usyk .

Dubois-Joshua 2 would be a hard sell, surely.
The 'mugs' would at least need another 'tomato can tour' from AJ to be drawn back into buying that. And I doubt 'His Excellency' wants to float it when there are much more interesting fights to make.

I don't see Fury & Usyk continuing to fight after December.

Dubiois becomes the defacto #1 after they retire. Then gets chinned by Bakole or Zhang. Then Zhang dies of a heart attack. Bakole becomes champion gets outboxed by Joe Parker. Joe Parker fights Hurgovic and loses. Hurgovic becomes the champion. The year is now 2027. Tyson Fury weighs 500 pounds and decides now is the time to strike to become a 4x HW champion with a comeback fight against Jake Paul.
