How does Wilder Justify this fight. Don't get me wrong Hughie looks like he has a future. But the WBC champion trying to get a fight with him.Wilder is a joke and after his last fight I think he will be exposed soon. Povetkin would kill Wilder with ease.

Wilder is trying to fight Wawrzyk which is even worse.

You've made some valid points, but I think the circumstances are different.

First off, Larry fought far more regularly than Wilder, so the fact that he had lots of title fights and stay busy fights against lowly opposition, wasn't as bad in my honest opinion.

Although most of those guys you've listed were inexperienced, some of them had beaten named fighters, and they'd all been active, fighting every few months.

    Ocasio had beaten Jimmy Young.

Leon Spinks had won and lost against Muhammad Ali.

Marvis Frazier was known because of Joe.

Tim Witherspoon had beaten Renaldo Snipes.

David Bey was coming off of a win against Greg Page.

Compare the above to Hughie, who's fought and beaten nobody of note, and then consider that he's only fought twice within the last 15 months.

Also, were Larry's opponents there to be fought, or did he and his team specifically go out and target what they thought were soft touches?

With regards to Evangelista, he'd had 26 fights going into the fight with Larry, and he'd fought around ten times after his loss to Ali. Not that it's important, but I thought I'd point it out.

Finally, I don't think you can really compare Tyson's early career to Hughie's. Mike had 27 fights before Berbick, as he'd been extremely active, fighting on a regular basis. Again, Hughie's only fought 16 times, and he's hardly fought within the last year or so. So although fighters of the past have also fought inexperienced and lowly opposition, I still think that team Wilder deserve a lot of criticism for trying to make this fight.

I find it odd that you are criticising Hughie's team, and not Wilder's for trying to make the fight in the first place.

You got the facts wrong, Hughie has 7 1/2 weeks to train, Peter Fury however said if he doesn't get the full 8 weeks he's not going to take thef ight lmfao. Peter and Hughie were going on about how Hughie could be teh youngest world champ of all time, but clearly they know better tahn to fk with Deontay, I mean if Tyson doesn't have the ***** to fight Deontay no way Hugie does.

Come on now, are you going to compare Ali at 36, who'd fought 58 times, and who was coming towards the end of his career, with Deontay Wilder who's only just won his belt at 29, after 34 fights?

Ali deserved a pass at that stage of his career.

Wilder should be heavily criticised for this bout.

Was he fighting Wlad last year you autistic ta(rd :lol:? Use your common sense **** for brains. Fury has nothing to lose against Wlad, a way bigger payday, more belts, and if he loses it's what everyone expects. If he loses against Deontay, he'll lose way more credibility, and since basically everyone is a Wilder hater and thinks he's a bum he'll be classed below that.

Who are you to be saying 'big deal' in a sarcastic tone? They are a very close knit family. You could hardly say he chickened out when his Uncle was seriously ill.

And if Tyson truly hadn't have wanted to face him, then he'd surely have never signed for the fight in the first place.

Why are you not criticising Wilder if this is true?

    It's a joke.

it's a joke of a fight, hughie is absolute dog ****, it would be embarrassing to see Wilder fight such a bum after Molina. But I'm criticizing the fury team as well for claiming that Hughie would be the youngest world champ, yet when an opportunity arises they ***** about 1/2 a week :lol:. They need to be honest and just say Hughie isn't ready and never will be.

Hughie made most of those claims himself..... There's nothing wrong with a young fighter talking himself up. Especially considering he was like 19 when he made most of those claims. The ship has already sailed on that, so I don't know why you're even talking about it.
