Because after the bite, and after the disqualification. Mike started walking around ,and Evander saw that. So he appearently said "You want to act like you wanna fight now" which is what set off the disaster after the disqualilfication.

That is actually makes it more funny :p

Man they had some unfinished business in that 2nd fight. I'm sure a trilogy fight would definitely not be an exhibition, they would be teeing off from where they last left off!

If they had a rule in place to exile Tyson from boxing if he got DQ’d that’d have been something.

I think it's good that they didnt have a trilogy. Mike just would have wasted everyone's money and time again if he did

Tyson didn't deserve a rematch just like Duran didn't deserve one anytime soon after quitting against Sugar Ray Leonard.

He appearently had the mentality of "I gave him a rematch,so he should give me a rematch" I watched a documentary or something where he said it.

To me, it was just incredibly dumb for him to quit 8 rounds in when he is only like 1 point behind ( I know he doesn't know, but he must have known he wasn't exactly losing) was just stupid.

You can't get an immediate rematch after quitting. Crazy.

I think that was what Roberto was thinking at the time. I think I saw a documentary where he didn't really think it was a big deal.

I think it also is weird, because I believe by the time he beat Leonard, he was already like a legend. He already was the nr.1 Lightweight already, and he beat a prime leonard. He oculd have just retired right there, and that's it.

It just seems so dumb though ,that a legend at that point basically woudln't think that quitting like that was a big deal.

If you believe him - I don’t. A boxer on that level knows how big the stage is, & what just up & quitting means.
