Like before I watch FOTC I like to watch Frazier-Foster, just get me into the Frazier rhythm and learn about what he can really do. It just enhances the FOTC for me. I love the Foster fight on its own, but these two come as a pair. Lopez-Alvarez II is much better if you watch the Preecha fight first, and I like to watch Zarate-Nakayama before I watch him rip the title from Martinez. Louis-Schmeling II is nice before you sit down with Louis-Walcott II or Louis-Conn I. That fight has kind of been relegated to a warm up for me. Any wee morsels you guys like to check out before you watch another fight?
I likie to watch Johansson-Machen before seeing Johansson-Patterson I...you get plenty of that "mysterious" Thor's Hammer that some writers were prepared to say "didn't exist" "whilst" Ingo was in training for that 1st fight with Floyd.
I like watching Joe Gans vs Battling Nelson, as a quick warm up to watching Bernard Hopkins vs Steve Frank.
Ha! I do exactly the same. The great thing is that Frazier lands a fantastic left hook to the body, left hook to the head on Ali in the second round. The same combination that left Foster staring at the lights. Ali took it though. I'll sometimes watch Tyson vs Spinks and then Tyson vs Douglas, too.:bbb
