Appleby European title

That's a funny one, i like Appleby but surely he doesn't deserve to be EBU mandatory when he's coming off the back of a loss?

Also, i think he needs a new promoter. Tommy Gilmour appears to only be interested in making money off him in the short term and isn't letting him progress steadily. It was disgraceful that Gilmour would allow a 21 year old kid have to go to the the bearpit that is the Ulster Hall to defend his title. Applebly has balls of steel and was happy to fight there but it was clear as day that the crowd reaction got to him in the Lindsay fight. On another night, if the fight was held outside of Belfast, i think Paul could have taken Lindsay.

 

Oleg Yefimovych will have far to much class for Appleby.

 

Who will make more money,Gilmour or Paul??

well that is how we knew about this by reading this forum , so thanks for the heads up about what is next for paul . Not sure if there is any truth in it whatsoever , when we become informed then i will let you know but in the meantime you are probably getting the information well before paul is lol.

Appleby needs to go to America and train with som top trainers for a bit. Sort out that leaky defense. When he swings wildly he is so open. He is not ready for the top top class guys yet. He has alot of heart for a long kid though.
