    I'm taking Lindsay to win a wide decision on points.

    i really fancy lindsay chanches appleby has no defence and lindsay will be countering him all night so lindsay k o for me.

    Then again the last time I thought an Irish fighter would narrowly lose a fight for the Irish title they won in spectacular fashion(McCloskey), hopefully it'll be the same here(even though I'm a big fan of Appleby).

    I think Lindsay has a good chance. He's a good counterpuncher. I think he struggled with the height and reach of Matthews. Appleby comes forward more and takes a lot of chances with his aggression. That should play into the counterpunchers hands.

    Appleby does have a few more strings to his bow though. He should just about pull through. I think the polls will level out in his favour.

    Appleby has a decent chin (well he gets hit enough and doesnt go down) and Lindsay really isnt that much of a puncher, lets remember he was getting outboxed easily by Derry but he just doesnt have a chin.
