With all due respect,i dont think Appleby should get a rematch even if he wanted one,Walsh looks like a man on the "up" whereas i dont think Appleby has improved any really,i could see a big hammering if there was any rematch, plus who knows what Paul will do if the going gets really tough,i feel for the lad,but the better man won.

In boxing, quitting is one of the worst thing you can ever do and the fans will never forgive you and Appleby wanted out....he needs a heart transplant.

I saw this and I didnt think Nelson said anything, I am certain the initial gesture was made Appelby.

Full respect to Appleby, but it was a No Mas from me.

And I dont care what Nelson says because I never trust a word he types.

Just got round to watching the fight. It wasn't a soft quitage was it, he looked quite beaten up and had been through a hellacious fight. I would rather he quit than risk his health in that situation. You can't fault a boxer for wanting out when they have been through a tough fight and have nothing left, its the boxers who look like they can carry on who generally get question marks set against them.

I don’t see what your last comment has to do with anything else.

If you’re taking a beating and have no chance of winning, your corner should pull you out. Billy saw the warning signs from Paul and pulled him out of there. It was the right thing to do.

My point to Troy is that speaking on behalf of “all fans” is laughable, just like his frankly ******ed opinions. You, kiddo, have just added yourself to my spastic list. Congratulations – only a tiny group of weirdos and idiots make it. You’re in the top five.
