Appleby v Lindsay on

Gilmour is ment to be a robbing *******, hope Applby does well out of this its a tough fight for him.

 

One things for sure, Paul doesnt take any easy fights. Its a breath of fresh air.

I doubt I'll be able to make the trip over but I'll watch it on TV. If his next fight after that is in Scotland im deffo gonna go

 

£30k is a very good purse, probably just above par for a British title fight - especially for a young kid in what will only be his 14th fight.

As I have previously said, SN wouldn't think of matching two good young guys against each other. Facing bums on the same bill maybe, at £3k a fight.........

 

Serious question: Is Derry still in the mix?

 

He should move up a wieght and try his luck there. He is still pretty deceny and could be a challenge to domestic honours.

 

I like the look of Appleby - if he learns a bit more discipline I think he can get quite far.

As an aside, does anyone know what's going on with Choi? I read an interview with him a couple of weeks back, but haven't heard anything regarding his next fight.

He's with Warren now so he'll probably get a WBO shot when the time is right.

 

i wouldent rule him out,i dont think he would get a British title fight immedietly but they may try and push him to win the truscott/simpson (if they dont go on to face applby,not that i am overlooking lyndsay)

also with Derry being a former world champion aswell...
