it's a fine # but nothing earth shattering. They don't exactly get many big fights in the Dallas area so this is a new opportunity for a lot of people to see a big name fighter in action. The tickets are very reasonably priced for a big fight.

I think they will sell more than 45, dont be surprised if they get 60 in the last 3 days, the sits on top maybe very cheap, not sure but I am guessing under $50

  4. Would've been 100,000 sold if it were Pac-Floyd

A lot of people would have boycotted the PPV if Margarito was on it. I know I would have, and I've heard the same from about 10 other people. An extra 10,000 seats sold at the event for $50 - $100 a pop wouldn't have made up for that.

I agree, I would not buy the PPV if Margo was on the undercard, I am doing the same for Floyd, I am not buying it because part of it goes for him and I dont like his mouth, I like him as a fighter but he just got worst

It seems that people only have an interest in this fight selling out or not selling out as relation to Pac vs Floyd. I personally would love to see the place full, and it be a great fight. maybe it would suck in a few passing people that only have a slight interest in boxing and turn them into real fans.

With that being said, this report only goes to show just how full of **** that Arum is. Wasnt it just two weeks ago that he claimed this fight to be a sellout already??? Didnt the *******s defend his statement when I and a number of other posters said that the fight was far from a sellout, and that you could still buy entire rows.

I have no doubt that the place will be full come fight night, I doubt that it will be a sell out but it will be full, due to the free passes that will be handed out to ensure that the stadium is full.

    20,000X500 is better then 45,000X150.

Having a bigger setting for a fight doesnt mean more money in the fighters pockets. A bigger setting means you have to have lower prices for two reasons. ONE you cant risk have a huge arena half full, TWO it takes away from "BEING AT THE FIGHT" the people in the $50 seats will be watching the fight pretty much the same way that we that arent going will be, that is on TV.
