I'm sure it will sell out. I knew it would be near capacity for the fight. I just think the PPV's expectations will not be as good as the gate expectations..

Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas reports that there are just a "few hundred" seats remaining in the 45,000-seat setup at Cowboys Stadium for Saturday night's fight between Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey, meaning the fight is close to selling out

Damn that would be crazy if it got to 50,000 people. All yall that ain't from TX heres a tip, they stop selling beer right before the main event, so If the Diaz/Soto fight makes it to the 12th round you better load up.

Sad to say he refuses to fight outside Nevada.

It has little to do with taxes. Its more about the kinds of people that go to Nevada. More high rollers, guys that look to spend big money to gamble on anything. with that kind of people wondering around you can charge huge ticket prices. So even if the Arena is half the size it will still make more MONEY. More people dont equal more money. If you go to a saloon in Beverly Hills you will pay $200 for a hair cut, if you go to one in Hollywood you pay $80. In Hollywood you have to cut 2.5 heads to 1 in the Hills. So 25 cuts in the Hills is better then 50 in the woods

yes, the casinos will put up these huge site fees in order to land the fight and bring in the people you are talking about so that they make their money back and then some.
