    I'd like him to at LEAST get a shot! I wasn't impressed with Kongo earlier in his career, but he's come a long way. He doesn't have a submission game, but his ground n' pound is wicked and he's got a great striking game. I hope he get's a shot soon and wouldn't doubt he wins.

    He looks like he has good GNP when he's beating on someone lousy. He won't do anything against the big wrestlers or guys like Gonzaga. Even Herring beat him on the ground.

    He'll be a gatekeeper, nothing else.

    Carwin would play with as much as Silva was playing with Leites. The difference will be that Carwin would hurt very badly, and that would be ugly.

    Kongo stinks guys.

    I doubt hes much improved from his loss against Herring and Herring is a guy who the UFC feeds to their young up and coming talent. Herring is pretty much shark bait and yet he beat Kongo.

    Kongo is not even a top 5 HW in the UFC. So unless you got alot of name recognition like Lesnar you arent getting a title shot. Nor should he.

    Did you watch the fight?

    It was a close SD.Kongo's Gnp as stated above, has improved.

    Kongo took him to the ground, instead of standing up.

    He was insecure about his weakness.

    Even Herring said after the fight.

    "I only trained in striking"

    Herring was even embarrassed that Kongo took him to the ground.

    I don't see it happening - but then again - if Tim Sylvia could be UFC heavyweight champion then anything is possible. I just don't care to see Kongo fight - at all.

    You arent a very bright person I think. As much as my english suck, I don't know how you can take my comment and imply i'm saying it would be the same fight between fighter with the same style.
    Carwin would do what HE wants with Kongo. Kongo CANT stop Carwin's takedown and Kongo CANT stop Carwin from punching his head into dust.

    Lesnar would beat him in the same fashion, but without TKO him as quick as Carwin
