and there is no chance he steps in with Wilder or Fury. It's the oldest trick in the book to dangle that carrot infront of fans.

If he has any hope of being relevant amongst the big boys, Dillian Whyte is a tune up.

Earn will swing it that "Franklin feels that he should've been given the nod against Whyte - he's well up for this career changing opportunity". I don't really have a problem with Joshua vs Franklin as he's coming off two losses and hasn't beaten anybody decent in about five years. It will be amusing to see it being sold behind a paywall, though. It's the sort of bout that should be on an undercard or something but the mugs will pay for it.

£25 for this is not going to go down well. Franklin isn’t terrible but he’s at best a gatekeeper to world level.

Kabayel would have been better- he’s undefeated and has held the European Title recently.

Kabayel is even worse than Franklin. Franklin has proven himself as a decent fighter against Whyte and makes sense since Joshua Whyte is being planned for the summer.

Exactly the same as Fury Chisora. Except that was worse.

Except Earn will be selling Franklin as a "top 10" or "top 15" boxer, strengthening Joshua's already commanding "résumé".

So did Frank Warren because Chisora beat a semi-retired Pulev who had fought an MMA / triad match and was lucky to get the decision. That is what a promoter is supposed to do. We all know Franklin isn't a top 10 fighter.

Neither is Martin, Takam, Breazeale, Molina or Pulev.

Is a 300lbs Ruiz one of the ten best heavyweights in the world?

At least the £7.99 DAZN UK subscribers get this Dell Boy Joshua 'rusty ring fight' for their sub!!!!

Even Earn surely not having the hard neck to charge the 200-300 loyal DAZN subscribers a penny more.

AJ is still a huge name who sells lots of PPVs regardless of who he faces in the boxing ring so I think AJ's comeback will be on DAZN UK PPV. I hope that DAZN is inspired by Sky and can keep the PPV price at 19,95.

There will probably be many PPVs in the coming time. I wonder if BT Sport Box Office will show the PPV event on February 25th ? (Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury)
