Eddie Hearn confirms he has sent a contract to Deontay Wilder, signed by himself and Anthony Joshua. The contract is made up of all the terms which Team Wilder agreed to with Hearn/Joshua earlier in the month. Hopefully this is getting closer.
April 13th Wembley: Aj-Beef baby Wilder-Price on the undercard or Wilder-Martin Tuscaloosa Alabama similar date to build interest.. I really have a feeling theyre gonna drag this one out hope I'm wrong
Hearn just made a good point regarding Whyte v Parker. If Whyte looks impressive, say he KOs Parker in 6, the demand from the fans which will finance Joshua's next fight will actually be for Whyte ll, not Wilder. Deontay, get a move on and sign. You will never earn $15 million from any fight unless you fight Joshua. Joshua could lose to Povetkin and retire, none of Wilder's purses would increase as a result.
Yeah then there’s no point for Wilder to fight him. tell Eddie and Joshua he will never become undisputed /shrug. Then I would keep fighting mandos till I’m blue in the face. If you lose your stock goes down. Had Floyd lost manny would have deserved a better split that just how it works but if your saying no you get what you get. Even after a lost and you bring less to the table if I was Wilder I would tell him to get ranked by the WBC and let’s go to purse bids where I get 75%-25% .
Hasn't Wilder already done that his entire career? Before he claimed the WBC he ran away from fighting Chisora in the UK. Then he claimed the WBC and said he wasn't ready for Klitschko. Then he thought he'd run away from Russia before Povetkin, who was proved innocent, had a chance to clear his name....He's lost a court case for this already. Both could refuse to become undisputed. Both could keep fighting mandos till they're 'blue in the face'. If Wilder wants to be known as the man who spent his career in the shadow of Klitschko and then Joshua..... And be significantly less wealthy than both men..... Then he just needs to keep doing what he's doing!
If Joshua wants to make his biggest check by far and become undisputed he’ll need to fight Wilder. It’s kinda a black mark for both of then more so AJ as he’s the A side. Also I’m still waiting for you to justify Joshua telling his fans to train and fight Wilder.
I dont think Wilder is going to sign that contract as it is. Both sides dug in right now but plenty of time for them to work something out. Give Wilder a percentage split but Wilder needs to be realistic. Hearn needs to realise Wilder wants and should get a percentage split, 15 Million is a bearing of the minimum this fight could make and Wilder knows that, the home advantage and the rematch clause are really important for them but they can afford to cough up a little more to get that deal on again. But then Wilder needs to keep his demands realistic too. There is a clear A side and B side and he needs to accept he is that B side and that he is going to get the shitty end of the stick. A side will demand rematch, A side will get home turf and A side will get the most money. Deontay seems to want to play this like a joint A side effort, its far from that and they are never going to give them that. April 13th 2019, plenty of time to sort this out, if Team Wilder really want it.
Joshua makes his biggest payday by far fighting Fury, with or without the WBC belt in play. Wilder cannot make 10% of what he'd make against Joshua against anyone else. Its clear Wilder has no ambitions of becoming undisputed. He turned down Klitschko, and hasnt gone looking for any belt since..... Why not fight Parker? Pay Martin? Enough said.
Offer him $20 mill and be done with it, if he declines again then he will go down in history as the biggest coward in the history of all sports, if his fans still defend him they will go down as the most deluded/idiotic fans in the history of all sports. Donkeypotamus will never rule da yulaverse.
