    Thoughts

After Wilder beats bear & Aj beats Sasha that's next in April.

Maybe AJ-Wilder in Sept 2019? Or will it be pushed to 2020?

Hopefully ,it's next year. Everybody that criticized the May/Pac fiasco is desperately trying to recreate the magic but they still have not realized that it was about the men they fought inbetween fighting each other that mattered too. There is no division with a roster like 147 2007-2011 and Heavyweight is the division of kings dammit, it sets the trends, not follow them.
Eddie needs to just be straight with all the guys and say," I want Wilder to fight this guy, Joshua to fight that guy, and these guys to mix it up." All the while hyping up the big event next year and building up the other HW fighters reputations so the winner and loser have someone to face in the aftermath.
But I'm just some guy on a keyboard with a avatar of one guy admiring another guys pecker.

Hearn has already said he wasnt wilder v whyte this year.....

A chance to get joshua v whyte 2 for all the belts as it's a bigger fight.

I personally think that Hearn is a rat and doesn’t put his cash cow in with Wilder.

Wilders win against Ortiz definitely meant the fight vs AJ is off now. Unless AJ loses those belts and has to start taking risks in his choice of fights to recover his ranking.

Ortiz again? is that all you have? Is Wilder going to be only remembered by his fans by beating an old unproven (at pro level) Ortiz?

Exactly. Every time that I make a point that I want to see Wilder/Aj fight other top 10 fighters instead of each other I get berated though.

You are aware that Ortiz just ICED Cojanu in 2. The same Cojanu who comfortably went 12 rounds with Parker.

    Levels dear boy. Levels

Hearn worshippers like you need to question things a little bit more. Ortiz is an elite top 5 HW.

Parker? who just got done by Whyte?

Swings and round a bouts my friend. By your logic Whyte easily beats Wilder.

Dug yourself a hole there, oops.

Wow Cojanu what an amazing win, can't wait to see Ortiz against Donovan Dennis the other guy that KO'ed Cojanu in 2 rounds. That should be a very competitive fight right? You talk about levels but lets be honest Cojanu is D or even E level.

But yeah Ortiz is top 5 heavy, that's not up for debate, but nobody wants Wilder/Ortiz so soon after the last one, Ortiz needs to get another decent scalp at least before getting another shot.

People criticise Hearn for trying to milk casual fans with Joshua/Whyte 2, but at least Whyte has beaten some decent and very good comp now, what has Ortiz done to deserve another title shot so soon? A win over Cojanu simply isn't gonna cut it.

I would like to see Whyte -Wilder now because Whyte has now beaten Parker he has made that fight.

I have given up on ever seeing AJ- Wilder because I know Hearn is a lying rat and doesnt want to risk his cash cow getting chinned. Thats two PPVS per year up in smoke if AJ gets chinned by Wilder.

AJ vs Wilder will still happen so long as both don't lose, but some people have made a reasonable point; because of Whyte's win over Parker (and Wilder's "hesitant" stance on signing that bloody contract) Hearn now has other big money options for AJ.

Look at that crowd last night, look how good an event that was (in terms of customer satisfaction), people will be demanding AJ vs Whytye II - as much as they will be demanding Aj vs Wilder, so if there is any more *****-footing around in Wilder's side Hearn won't hesitate to sign up the rematch with Whyte.

Wilder only has himself to blame.

    No we don't.

Ortiz took the WBC route as he probably thought Wilder was the easier fight, so technically; Ortiz ducked AJ.

Just because a coked-up fat Fury said Ortiz was a "boogeyman" doesn't make it true, fact is Ortiz never won a title and never will. His best win was an overated Jennings.

    oopsie
