Macklin-Gevor is a solid fight, really good co-feature. Purdy-Watson is a bit meh, I'd have preferred someone like Colin Lynes to get the shot. However, it could be a fun fight. Martin Murray-Brazilian guy...couldn't they have found someone better? Looking at the WBA rankings, how about Kassim Ouma? Quigg's opponent will hopefully be a good learning experience. The guy was stopped on cuts against Kevin Mitchell but seems durable. I'd have preferred Quigg-Arthur for the British title as Booth is fighting Martinez for the Euro. Together with the main event....not worth £15 :-(
but didnt khan say that 6000 tickets were sold in the first 24 hurs, and that is why they were being arsey wth mccloskey with tickets ? if that is the case another 6 and half over a few weeks isint as good as team khan would have you think
I think (and by think I mean calculated guess) that Hatton Promotions are trying to get a him a shot at the European Title.
ppv in this country r **** whilst tehy r cheaper than a usa ppv at least you get a proper card advert free with some decent commentators
Why is everyone so down on this card it shits on a lot of the other PPV Cards we have had from recent years, it is far better than Haye-Ruiz, Haye-Harrison, Khan-Salita, Khan-Kotelnik, Khan-***an etc. The only PPV Card which I can remember off the top of my head which had more depth then this one was Khan-Maidana and the Magnificent 7.
whoever thinks this is a decent undercard for PPV is a complete ****ing dumbass, you mother****ers really **** me off, its absolute bollix we have to pay for this ****, sky and co are slowing ass ****ing you sorry sons a bitches
i hope they show more boxing action than last time as opposed to ****ing about with a computerised gadget to try convince people it was a 50/50 fight. id like a red button option where you can either watch pundits build up to the main event or press red to watch all the under card action.
