If this fight were happening on the 1st of May, I'd see it going one of two ways: either Mayweather by close decision, or Pacquiao by close decision...absolutely NO in-between.

That sounds more like a night fantasy for you, with Mayweather's poster right in front of you while thinking about it. :yep

This isn't about a long-running poll (where people's opinions can change and evolve based on the outcomes of fights that happen in the meantime). It's about a snapshot of a state of opinion at a given point in time. This is only running for two weeks, and deliberately closes before the Mayweather-Mosley fight.

im picking up pac winning via a wide unanimous decision. pac will outwork floyd. pacs straight left and right cross combo will sure hurt pbf and all pbf could do is on a defensive mode. watch the cotto and clottey fight and you will see how pac will connect effectively if his opponent tries to exchange punches. once pbf open up and exchange punches, pac will connect those combos and mayweather will go to defensive mode until the 12th round.

LOL.....Cotto did better than Josh! But you seem to think he was weight drained:patsch. Manny landed A LOT OF Body shots on Josh....Josh protected his dome very well but he was hurt to the body. Manny will take what's open and will do what it takes to create opening IF his opponent is there to fight. Josh cleary wanted to last the distance and knew he was out classed and out gunned.

:good If Paul ain't on his game he'd get beat by Manny or Floyd but if Paul is clicking on all cylinders he's a ****in problem for anyone.

After seeing the state of Pacquiao's face after fighting Clottey I can see Mayweather stopping him late due to the amount accurate punches he's going to take.

The problem I see with this is while Pac has followed Roach's plan, he's never had to change from what he was sent in there to do throughout any fight.

Fighting Mayweather will be completely different as we've seen in the past with Floyd that if he isn't getting success with his original gameplan then he has the boxing brain to adapt to what his opponent is doing and take over from there.

How Pacquiao will react to this is the interesting part because I don't think he has the boxing brain to adapt his plan to figure someone out mid fight.

Are you ****ing kidding me? That body work he showed in that fight was average at best. Dawson, Dirrell, Bute, Bradley and Maidana have all shown much better body work than that. It was hardly impressive. The guy threw 1200 punches and had a horrible connect %. With that said Pac is no elite body puncher he's far from it he's a head hunter and his track record proves it.

  13. Pacquiao by close (possibly controversial) decision.
