:yep hes forever a legend but his time is up. out with old and in with the new. i want to see that Dawson-Pascal rematch already
Hopkins going to take Dawson into the trenches win lose or draw. If Hopkins continues, eventually he will accept defeat, losing without no controversy surrounding the fight, age is inevitable.
If he loses ****** will want cleverly to fight him or he could go up to cruiser and beat one of the **** beltholders he wont retire
I always knew Dawson was a bad matchup for him. He really should have retired after Pascal II. Finished on top. Noone would have complained.
No way Hopkins getting TKO'd or KO'd, the man is too experienced. Dawson UD12 Hopkins is the most possible outcome.
I'd love to see Bernard win as it would add to his already ridiculous resume. Absolute legend and there's no fighter in the history of the the game prime for prime that would comfortably beat him from 160-175. Despite this I felt Dawson would win the first figt and Ima stick with my pick for the second fight. If he were to win I'd love to see him have a crack at cruiserweight title as beating someone like Hernandez would be possibly the biggest win of his career take into account his age circumstances etc. All providing he maintains good health through oth fights though
Nope, don't see it. Dawson is fragile mentally and even as talented as he is, as soon as the fight goes into deep waters and Hopkins is neutralizing his weapons(like he does everyone else) he'll fall apart again. Only way Dawson wins this fight is another controversial decision with the judges giving it to him but he won't beat him convincingly.
I see where your coming from and I'd agree with the Bradley over PAC as we saw how bad PAC is when fights someone who can box. However when was the last time you saw mayweather even close to being beat? His dominance since the Castillo fight has been unmatchable in recent years.
I have a different take than you, infact he looked real good physically to me in his last fight with dawson. He took Dawson jab away and was just starting to pick the pace up before he got dumped. His footwork, reflexes, and lateral movement still looks good and that's a big key to his success at a late age.
