I think Hopkins has a decent chance to beat Dawson because if he's being outboxed, he can make it a dirty fight and when he does, I don't think Dawson will react well to that. I think he'll complain, he'll fight aggressively and any gameplan will go out of the window. If that happens, he'll have played right into Hopkins' hands.

Aside from that though, I can't see Hopkins retiring after a loss because if there is any style out there to beat Hopkins, Dawson has it. He's fast, agile and throws good combinations. All of those things are what no man wants to face, never mind someone as old as Hopkins. If he loses to Dawson, I think he'll accept it like when he lost to Taylor. It's just a tough match up and at the elite level, losses happen when the styles dictate it.

Hopkins has a decent chance. I favour Dawson by about 60/40 but I wouldn't be surprised to see Hopkins pull it out. I'd be surprised if Dawson wins easily though. Unless that happens, Hopkins will continue and if he's selective about his opposition, there's no reason he can't continue for a few more years.

I really want to see this rematch. I've considered Dawson to be done for the last few years. His one quality win was over a guy known for being inactive, then gassing; essentially tailor made for an over the hill fighter.

Did I ever compare Clottey's style to Marquez in my post? Because if I did, I don't remember ever doing that. Now what did I say was that Pacquaio ONLY has problems WITH marquez's boxing style(which has been proven TWICE before there 3rd match) but it doesn't translate that he's gonna have problems with all boxers, boxer counterpunchers, boxer movers, boxers in general etc. etc.

Dawson's always been a bad style match up for B-Hop, even 4 years ago when he was chasing B-Hop but B-Hop wanted nothing to do with him. Always felt Dawson would beat B-Hop and not changing that now although I'll be rooting for B-Hop regardless

hopkins is a smart fighter, and the guys now are a little overrated. If this were 20 years ago he could not have fought at 47 and been successful.
