Not sure that burns deserves a crack at crolla currently. Crolla/Flanagan is the fight!

According to Eddie Hearn on Twitter, Matthew Macklin is pencilled in for the April 9th. I wish Macklin would retire for his sake but at least he should be a competitive undercard fight.

I know, I noticed exactly the same thing amongst the social circles I mix in too. I have never seen this much hype about a British fighter. Ricky Hatton & Bruno had much hype about them but not as much as this.

Even inside the O2 there was a slightly different crowd to most boxing events I have been to. I can't ever remember seeing so many women at a boxing event as well - which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Also there didn't seem to be much interest in the undercard until maybe the Kevin Mitchell fight. I don't want to sound disrespectful but I'm not sure how many people in the arena had heard of Ismael Barroso or just presumed Mitchell was in a relatively straight forward fight against a glorified bum.

Pre fight hype is shown free and the actual fight is Pay per Poo and a non event.

Why on earth do people get excited about all these Matchroom badly mismatched events billed as 50/50 fights FFS

Quick question. What did you make of the Bad Intentions card in terms of mismatches...were all the fights one sided mismatches?
