Wladimir Klitschko v.s Alex Leapai 4/26..........I think Wlad batters him from the outside with the hookjab for about 4 rds before unleashingthefury:D, the R hand and dropping him. Leapai will be dangerous first the first 3-5 rds, and no doubt Wlad will be slow dancing with him every time he comes in with his head down and arms flailing. But after they both settle in, the R hand will start landing regular and Wlad will score his 52nd KO......likely outcome Wladimir TKO 7.

Eddie Chambers v.s Ian Lewison 4/12..........Lewison is a tough *******.....but he's a sparring partner and only recently decided to become a legit HW....kindof like Ollie McCall and Larry Holmes did in their perspective careers. Chambers is coming off a schooling loss to the powerful little speedster, Tabiso Mchuna. Chambers is with Team Fury now, sparring and doing strength training. He's filled out nicely and looks to be back to about 220....but solid as a rock. I expect a much stronger version of Chambers than we'd ever seen. Lewison recently KO'd a chinny Tom Dallas and got a gift KO vs the notoriously slow dinosaur Timo Hoffman. But Chambers is neither chinny or a dinosaur. And like I said, I expect Peter Fury has him finally becoming a real HW. Lewison will look for spots early, Chambers will be clowning him with CPs until he sees Lewison hurt, and then in Fury-esque fashion, he'll go for the kill and get it...............likely outcome.....Chambers KO4.

Christian Hammer v.s Konstantin Airich 4/11.........Airich claim to fame was beating Pala. Hammer otoh has heated up chopping down the giant pedophile, and outworking Kevin Johnson in a fight noone by Hammer's mother expected him to win. Arrich will be outgunned and outworked......likely outcome.....Hammer TKO8

Lucas Browne v.s Eric Martel Bahoeli 4/26.....stay busy fight for Browne....the massive Aussie slugger should have little trouble dispatching Bahoeli who is massively overranked on boxrec as a top 50. At 6'3 250, Bahoeli will look like a decent opponent, but he takes punches and his chin is not iron. I expect him to trade early and get KTFO in brutal fashion.........likely outcome Browne KO2.

Amir Mansour v.s Steve Cunningham 4/4................this is a dream fight for Cunningham. Monsour has never beat a solid top 50 HW, and aint ever fought one IMO...Guinn woulda been had he been active. That said, Monsour was hurt occasionally by the giraffe necked Kelvim Price and USS is like a sniper in comparison, and probably just as strong. USS will look to work off the back foot the entire fight and will beat Monsour to the punch as long as it lasts. Problem is, USS is slightly chinny, and is a horrible finisher..........likely outcome......USS 98-88 with both fighters seeing the canvas.

Manuel Charr v.s Kevin Johnson 4/12..............likely Solis, KJ is a waste of talent due to inactivity. No problem at all getting him into the ring, but once inside the circle, his punch output is aweful. I don't know if KJ knows how to throw a 1-2. Charr otoh is a volume puncher with massive heart. He's also a strong SOB.......I don't expect the iron chinned KJ to go down, but I don't expect him to survive 12 rds either. Likely outcome......Charr TKO9/RTD9 (ref stoppage or towel)

Charles Martin v.s Alexander Flores 4/16.......couple prospects....aint seen either that I can recall....

David Price v.s Ondrej Pala 4/12.............huge step for Pricey.....with his chin/stamina issues, this fight is do or die for the not-so-young Brit......Pala himself has some stamina/chin issues though, and Price is a HUGE puncher, and has a great hook/jab, much like Wladimirs. So long as Price don't blow his load trying to get the early KO, he should cruise with his jab....but he's got to tie up when Pala begins the bums rush. Likely outcome......(hopeful outcome)....Price KO5.

Johann Duhaupas v.s Janne Katajisto 4/5.............. Seen some of Duhaupas and Katjisto is a short fat slugger. Duhaupas has some skill, and is a tall order for a limited crude slugger like Katajisto. Duhapas has a sleek 1-2 and it should have no trouble finding the short fatty. Likely outcome......Duhaupas TKO3......Duhuapas needs some higher profile fights.....IMO, he should be a top 30 HW....he's got the tools.

Kyotaro Fujimoto v.s Nobuhiro Ishida 4/30..............Neither of these guys is anything special. But since I dislike Fujimoto and am a fan of Ishiida, Im rooting for Ishiida. Fuji has decent power and good athletiscism, but Ishiida has an IRON chin, and should be slick as Floyd Mayweather as a HW. BUT.....he didnt have ANY power as a MW, so I doubt he has any at HW....likely(hopeful)outcome.....Ishiida 60-54 UD.

Gerald Washington v.s Skipp Scott 4/3 ........good fight between hopeful American HW's.....Scott had a solid career going until 2012, but he went MIA, and at 36, this is do or die for him. It's on a SOLID card, so a win for either will HIGHLY raise their profile. Washington already has a solid win over Tank Williams. He's gonna be the smaller guy in the ring vs Scott, but he's got youth,31:yep, and activity on his side here. Likely outcome.......Washington 97-93UD.

Hughie Fury Danny Hughes 4/12.......Not much of a step up for Big Baby Hughie. But HUghes has only lost in the PF format, and by decision to two solid PF format fights in Sprott and Harrison....that said, Hughie should be fighting either Sprott or Harrison. Huey's not chinny that I can tell, and I think at this stage he should be stepping up, rather than sideways from the like's of the Greers. Hughes is a sidestep, but hopefully the monstrous Fury can score a HL reel KO. Likely outcome........Fury KO5

Nagy Aguilera v.s Dominic Breazeale 4/3.........Aguilera KO'd1 Maskaev.....he nearly KOd Adamek....he's a huge puncher but he gasses about 4rds into this one and Breazeale should school him from there............ Likely outcome Breazeale KO6

Luis Ortiz v.s Monte Barrett 4/3........By far Ortiz biggest step up in the 43 y/o Barrett.....Monte is ALWAYS in great shape, but he's been inactive since underestimating power-punching CW Shane Cameron. That said, I don't think Two Gunzz underestimates the giant SP Ortiz, and I think Monte is too smart and too bg a step up for the aging Cuban.....Likely outcome.....Barrett KO9.

Eddie Chambers v.s Ian Lewison is not happening. Apparently Ian Lewison has pulled out with a knee injury.

But we can rest assured that Peter Fury will be looking for a replacement.

Tyson was playing the colorman for Eddies return fight vs Mazrek and Tyson was clear in pointing out that "their" plan for Eddie is ACTIVITY".......something he was clearly lacking in last years as a HW when he was being trained by Bashir.

This new, come forward version of Eddie Chambers has to be worked for this to work. He looked great vs Mazrek, but there were times he didnt follow up when he'd hurt the bigger Mazrek.
Look for Team Fury to bring in someone like Sprott.

Sprott is signed up for the NZ 8man HW tourney, so it's not like he's gonna get pulled out if he loses a 6 rd decision to Chambers.
It's 2 wks away, and Sprott is used to short notice fights. Might cost Peter a bit more loot to get Sprott in there, but an extra 10K aint gonna kill him in the long term.

They should change this from an 8 rdr to a 6 rdr just to make it easier to find a suitable replacement.:think

Mismatches happen in a weak division? That makes no sense at all. Mismatches can by definition only happen when there are (relatively) strong fighters around.

As fights go those matches are actually some of the best matches that have made in the last few years, if you go by close proximity in the rankings. If you go to my website type www then independentworldboxingrankings then dotcom you can see how often fighters fight non top 100 opponents, there are quite a few there facing half decent ones.

Still no known opponent for Andrej Fedosov who also fights in April in a scheduled 8rdr at horseshoe casino on Friday 4-18.

Also want to add that balls to the wall, slugging SP, Constantine Benajaru is returning on 4-24.

Anthony Joshua fight 4-19 on the Quigg undercard.:thumbsup

Thanks for the post; awesome list.

    Wladimir Klitschko v.s Alex Leapai 4/26. **** fight, K2 KO(hopefully early).

Christian Hammer v.s Konstantin Airich 4/11. Has the makings of a good fight, but Hammer wins.

Amir Mansour v.s Steve Cunningham 4/4. Great match-up! Best of the bunch. I won't bet on it till we know the size of the ring. But I like USS to fight a disciplined fight and use his speed and reach to win.

Manuel Charr v.s Kevin Johnson 4/12. Another good match-up. I think Johnson has a pretty god shot at the upset but more likely Charr by robbery.

David Price v.s Ondrej Pala 4/12. Hmm, another risky fight for Price. Excellent match-up, I'll go with Price by KO.

Luis Ortiz v.s Monte Barrett 4/3. Another good match-up. But I can't imagine Barrett has enough left to threaten Ortiz, so Ortiz KO.
