    Greatest quarter ever? Very unlikely.
It looks like 2 stacked 80's Don King cards put together.

    But it's very good indeed.

Its really not though? Some injuries take a while to heal. That's objective fact.

    True.
But it had nothing to do within this context.
Or do you have any knowledge of them having injuries from one fight to the orher?
You would be right in the case of Johnny Bratton’s jaw.

I would imagine in an era where you fought more often injuries would be even more common than they are today. I just don't see guys who fight every 3-4 weeks in an era where gloves had less protection being at their best in most of their outing.

It s a case by case scenario.
Certainly was better than having these lazy over paid slobs of today fighting twice a year.

I would love to see a middle ground. Some of these prospects that fight 5 or 6 times a year would be a good pace in my opinion.

Horrible quarter, horrible matchmaking and a lot of horrible fights.

    Four good fights though.

But calling it "biggest quarter in boxing history" is ridiculous. You must been watching boxing for a few months then...

Best? no, boxing fans are like a man dying of thirst in the desert. Even muddy water looks good to drink.
