Baysangurov is zooming in like a house afire, crashing into Amirkhanyan with big pincer attacks on the body diving forward and sending battle-axes glinting in the moonlight before arcing down into the dog-food that has become his face. Amirkhanyan is doing his best to lightly - and quickly - tread his way around the ring on his toes and pepper Baysangurov's face with jabs and lefts but can not go for long without stopping, forced then to trade with the shorter man who comes ramming in with evil intent. Nice exchanges. Amirkhanyan is deducted a point for, allegedly intentionally, spitting his mouthpiece.

Nah, those scores were within a reasonable range, even though I had Khuseyn edging it. If they'd been any wider then yeah they'd be suspect, but 115-112 isn't outrageous. 114-112 is more on the mark. This was a draw or one point in either direction type of fight, and the twelfth could have gone either way (on my card I gave it to Baysangurov but could definitely see giving it to AAA)

 

Was that an independently reached conclusion or can I be credited with an assist for pointing out in my preview thread that after watching Amirkhanyan vs. Skorokhod my own (informal, extra-league) pick had changed and I now slightly favored Aram?
