You're the one forgetting facts. They touched gloves, Mayweather put his hands up, Ortiz hugged him, and then pulled back with his hands at his sides. This is all after the round had restarted. One guy followed the rules and acted like a fighter, the other guy didn't follow the rules and didn't act like a fighter. You have to ask yourself why there are more people criticizing the fighter who acted like a fighter and followed the rules.

    :nono No.

What you really have to ask yourself is...

Why the **** are people so obsessed with Floyd? Everyone says they hate him and that boxing doesn't need him. Then every thread they make is about the guy. You take away every thread about him and this place would be reduced to rubbish. :deal

And people say Floyd's fans are ridiculous? Floyd and his fans are attacked constantly.

right. floyd came forward differently as arce did once the ref motioned them to fight. floyd came forward not throwing and seemed to be ok meeting with victor at the middle. ortiz seeing it as such thought mayweather was cool with him apoligizing. it's clear as the day that floyd took advantage of the moment he saw victor had his hands down while apologizing still. it's clear victor was still in that moment when floyd in split seconds decided to go for the sucker punch.

we are not even talking about rules here, we are talking about sportsmanship. floyd took advantage of the gesture and whacked ortiz after acting like he was accepting the apology.

you are asking if arce would have done the same thing. the answer is probably no. what floyd did was premeditated and he was hell bent on sucker punching ortiz by acting like he is accepting the apology. a pissed real warrior would just ignore the apology and just attack immediately once the fight restarts.

true. ortiz is an idiot for trusting floyd and not protecting himself at all times but why would the floyd fans try to spin the facts as if the suckerpunch didn't happened just because it was legal?

A real warriror fights when it's time to fight. A real sportsmen adheres to the rules. Mayweather did both. I have no idea how people can simply disregard the rules. They are there for a reason and Mayweather followed them. The round had restarted, and Mayweather had his hands up in a fighting position. If that wasn't enough to tip Ortiz off, the left hook definitely should have. Yet even after getting hit with thatleft, Ortiz still kept his hands down and looked at the ref. It's pretty sad that people are glossing over that and instead are bashing a guy who legally punched a guy during a boxing match.

Floyd hand picked a guy who got out boxed by Lamont Peterson and has to hit him when he's not looking. That's pretty laughable.

Hopefully he fights Pac or Martinez at 154 next or Lol,

wouldn't be surprised if he just takes another 18 months off again, it's obvious he didn't want the rounds in the Ortiz fight.

floyd was a little bit dirty and knew how to play it, ortiz didn't and got frustrated. he lost his head, received the penalty, and upon realization of his actions, turned to being too apologetic.

floyd came out at the signal and his body gesture was not of someone who wanted it to get it on immediately. he met with ortiz in the middle, let ortiz apologize some more and at the instant floyd realizes he's got ortiz in this situation, he goes for two clean uncontested shots. the reason why we can not regard this ko as legit even if it was legal is exactly that there was something making it not feel right.

This is a bannable offense TS. :bart Comparing Arce and Floyd along the noble canons of a Warrior's Codebook, wtf is that? They are cut from different cloths ffs!

The former is from pure fine linen.

The latter from uncouth filthy rag.
