Arce v Donaire

Arce is on the way down. His last fight was the worse I've seen him. Donaire wins a somewhat close fight.

 

Donaire will need to TKO Arce to build up some hype for a Mijares fight, I dont see that happening, Arce has a very good chin.

 

didn't he KOed a regular bantamweight with a decent record(the thai who KOed pac) after losing to mijares.

No, that was two fights ago. That was a quick 1st round ko for Arce. His last fight was in May against Devid Looknahanak, some guy from Thailand I've never heard about. Arce won by majority decision.. if he's struggling against this guy, Donaire should beat him.

 

this is really an easy fight for Donaire. Put in Arce vs Darchinyan, thats a crakker!

i don't know if donaire is overated. darchinyan is wild but even gorrez who is a well-schooled technician struggled aginst him. let's see darchinyan fight arce instead and we would have a bloody war.

i am pinoy and would favor mijares over donaire. many other pinoys too. in fact the americans are the ones who are high on donaire more than us. mexicans and europeans like amsterdam and you are the one who are high on mijares. you even make him your God.

This guy would have gone to the Olympics had it not been for that robbery against Villoria in the final of the trials

This kid is the Darkest horse in boxing right now...His career has been marred by mismanagement from early on and up to the present with the Shaw fiasco...

He's been knocking heads in the ring since age 12...hes got all the pedigree...He just needs to focus

 

Donaire is the truth he just needs to stay focused and get a little more experience.

I've only seen Arce fight in a lloooooooong time. The last fight was on the Judah-Mayweather undercard.

What was Arce's best fight that you've ever seen. I'll go with the Arce Hussein fight underneath the Pac-Morales I fight.

 

i remembered correctly that before the darchinyan fight, almost all pinoys based in the philippines doesn't give him the chance and some americans who had seen donaire fight think that he is a sleeper. heck even now, most pinoys think that donaire is just another viloria and eventually lose.

as for me, i am quite impressed with his two fights against darchinyan and maldonado. not yet fully sold and awaiting for his next fight. his inactivity is quite disturbing. i don't know why he couldn't land any fights when mijares fights around 5 times a year. it's better to beat some cans than to rust.

 

anyone who is not impressed by that is surely a hater, he's got skills and has good atlethecism. But he is not top 10 p4p for now just like how one poster claim. Arce-donaire is a sure war and excitement. If he KOs iron chin arce that would be something

 

This kid has it all...He just needs to focus and reign in the flash a little..He is way way too overconfident...He needs to fight conservatively pick his spots and cover up properly.

He needs to utilize that handspeed...hes in PAC category in terms of pure handspeed believe that!...He's got the most versatile left hook in the lower weights.. Basically he's got it all, Power, Speed, Technique, Charisma and a good chin to boot.

 

Let's not talk about hyped ,over hyped etc etc. Let's talk of fighting styles.

Arce wants to brawl . . . Donaire doesn't fight an inside fight, he want's to stay out and rely on his timing. He wants to box. Arce is no longer that fighter that he is and I figure Donaire will catch Arce while coming in . . . just like what happened to Darchiryan because Arce comes in too open. Will Arce fall? That remains to be seen. Donaire is a thinking fighter so he'll do his best not to be pulled into a brawl.
