happy new year, i'm going to try to sign jorge arce to fight eric esch (aka "butterbean") in tokyo in the latter part of 2008. i know eastsideboxing.com is the place of sophisticated boxing fans, and so I'd be very grateful if you'd answer the following three questions: 1) would you pay $15 on ppv to watch arce-butterbean? 2) do you think this fight, if properly promoted, could reach a wide audience? 3) the fight would be scheduled for 8 rounds. who do you think would win? i realize that boxing purists would have plenty of reasons to scoff at such a match, but in my view, boxing doesn't always have to take itself so seriously. arce-butterbean might be a lot of fun, which is why i'm considering promoting the fight. I'd appreciate your feedback. All the Best in 2008. --Jason Rhodes
