    Rewatch the bloody fight.

Arce had no legs to begin with. He was truely unbelievably awful down the stretch, he was all over the place and he wasn't even being hit.

Don't take my word for it. People are selling Arce short. He has boxing skill, but he is now completely gone, and if the Mijares fight wasn't indicative of that, this fight surely was. Darchinyan is a great fighter, great power, but he had nothing to worry about. Arce didn't throw nearly as many punches as he did, he had no snap on anything he managed to throw, and he was falling over all night.

Darch looked good, he usually does and I think he's a hell of a fighter, but Arce had NOTHING. He fought back in a couple tiny spots here and there but really, he looked terrible. At one point I really thought Darchinyan was carrying him because it seemed like he could get him out of there any time he decided to step it up.

Vic is getting praise, nobody is dissing darchinyan. Take out your tampon... I also believe Vic wins the fight with a prime Arce but it would have been a war. This was a walkover.

he usually throws a right hand like he actually means to hit someone with it, now doesn't he? He usually digs some left hooks to the body and when he gets on the inside he fights like a demon.

Tonight his right hands were slow, wide and totally non-threatening, he got maybe three hooks to the body all night and when he got inside he immediately grabbed Darch around the waist and held on for dear life. You're talking to this poster like he's an idiot but you're saying the absolute dumbest **** imaginable.

Sure Arce might be past his best but the reason he looked shot is that he CLEARLY got stung in the first round. For the first two minutes of the second round Arce didn't throw a punch. He went into survival mode. Props to him for coming back well in the middle rounds despite being totally outgunned. He is incredibly tough and has a great chin. He landed some good punches and displayed that Vic is still open to that left hook.

Let me guess...your mexican... Oh, it wouldnt be the fact that Arce tasted Vics uppercuts and that made him fight a timid fight. Seems to be case with all of his opponents. Arce stayed on his feet despite all the bombs Vic landed. If he was so shot, he would not have lasted as long as he did. He was in good conditioning and he was a demon when he was facing light hitters. I guess you would need to watch boxing to know that you dont open up against a guy that can put you lights out in an exchange. Vic was OUTBOXING him. It was not a slug fight clown. Vic was circling the ring on his toes in and out. Arce could not get off his shots b/c Vic was not there to be hit and he tied Arce up or pushed him off on the inside. I seen Arce fight plenty of ****ing times and he was no god damned different. As the saying goes, anybody can look good against lesser opponents. Yeah, he been in wars and he is shot from all the wars.....he is in wars b/c he cant fight any other way. This **** is hilarious.

Everyone knew that Arce wasn't prime anymore, and for a 29yr old, he's a very 29yr old with alot of miles on him.

    bernie,

obsessed with tampons? don't know why, good luck to you.

when u have people hell bent on bringing down vics performance by saying he won because arce was shot i wonder why that is their main focus. it is a little sad actually. but each to their own i suppose.

Muhammed Ali stayed on his feet against Larry Holmes. Was he shot in that fight?

Nobody is dissing Darchinyan, but if you just watched that fight and didn't see a shot Arce, or very very close to shot, you need to get off this board, go buy some boxing books and dvd sets and come back when you know something about boxing.

And you are either a total ****ing idiot or a total ****ing liar if you didn't see a difference between the this Arce and the one that fought Hussein and Carbajal.

What I don't understand is why you think you have to defend Darchinyan like he's your buttdaddy when nobody is saying anything bad about him. Darch is a beast. Arce was shot. Both of these things can be true simultaneously.

Arce was shot. Had he been prime, Vic would have had a fight on his hands. He wasn't anywhere near his prime, and Vic kicked his ass. End of. Arce hasn't looked gooed in 3 years.

    Bull****.

We would have had a much more competitive bout on our hands if the fight took place 5-6 years ago.

Its not the same old ESB.

Mijares was in his Prime he got totally outboxed by Vic.

Arce is 4 years younger than Vic.

Yes Jorge has had many wars but thats because skills are not as good as everyone on ESB believe they are.

The first 5 rounds for me were great to watch then Vic took over.

He had no Legs because he kept getting caught with Vics Power shots.

Any able boxing fan could see that.
