Wow. No comments. Benny Leonard seems underrated like Aaron Pryor is underrated.

 

Nothing underrated about Aaron Pryor. The dude finds himself in people's top 50 lists sometimes. I'm sorry but how does this happen?

There was another article which had Arcel rating Duran the best lightweight even above Benny Leonard, but this seems more reliable to me.

 

Interesting,and I would make LEONARD the best of the Lightweights.
Arcel saw them all but he would have been 17 when Leonard fought Welsh,and never worked with Benny, till he made his abortive comeback as a fat Welterweight after the Wall Street Crash had wiped him out.
