Yes and Tyson had little patches where he outjabbed the bigger guys. He had to be quite close to do it tho and he used the jab spasmodically compared to taller more jab dependent guys like Ali, Holmes et al.

Qawi actually had the same reach as Tyson and was fighting much smaller men. Absolutely he had a stand out jab for his size but he and Tyson used their jabs in different ways to others. They had to. Both were basically always advancing too. Another factor is that they both put a lot of pressure on the other guys jab because they were both looking to get under it and counter which they did brilliantly.

Put both against bigger top level jabbers and they weren't going to be looking at winning jabbing contests they were going to get inside. Both did this so well.
