Archi Solís turns down Sulaiman's offer to pay for hospital....

    Solís thanks Sulaimán, but says he can't accept it: "It's not a matter of money" he says.

    According to Jalisco's law, Canelo could face up to 5 years in jail if he can't prove his innocence. It seems that Solís has already filed the criminal lawsuit, and he is thinking of filing a civil lawsuit because he won't be able to fight for 8 months.

    I don't wish jail on anybody, Canelo should not be allowed to fight. That's some real ***** ass **** running up on a lil man like that.

    the mexican legal system is a joke....they have guys running around called "the drug cartel" who chop peoples heads off....including town leaders and politicians ......i dont see any of the going to jail ......but canelo will get 5 years huh? haha nah

    As a boxing fan I dont hope canelo goes to jail, just let him do some community service and pay solis a big amount of money.

    In the whole scheme of things,this is pretty minor.Assaulting another boxer with suspicious circumstances and bias witnesses turns this whole thing into a hesaid-she said bull**** fest.
    Money exchanging hands shall be the ultimate result.We are talking Mexico here,folks.

    Possibly destroying the life and almost definately the career of a young guy over a punch?

    Jeesh,stuff like this happens all the time and people dont go running to the authorities over it!

    Jeez, if I dont see something like that happen twice tonight when I go out for a drink,Ill be surprised.

    Do you know how to read?? Do you know that Solís jaw was broken in two places, he had to be operated (that means a lot of money $$$ in case you don't know), he will miss his next fight (money $$$$ loss if you can't figure it out), and won't be able to box for 8 months?

    That's why it's hard for me to believe, that Archie will not accept a nice fat check to settle things from Don Jose. I know he said he will not accept the money but he could just be waiting for them to increase the $$$ figures.

    By the way you is Archie's promoter? Is it Top Rank? Just curious. Has his promoter released any statements, since their fighter will not be able to make them money. I don't think he had a fight lined up, but still his promoter can't be happy.
