    Old Archie Moore from his later career as a coach is given several months to prepare 1955 Archie Moore for his fight with Marciano.

    Old Archie will also work the corner for 1955 Archie.

    Do the Moores work out a plan for victory? Or does Marciano bulldoze through the Moores' combined eleventy-million years of cunning, experience, and future knowledge?

    I feel like Moore with the benefit of hindsight could come up with something. No idea what it would be because I'm not two Archie Moores.

    At that stage of his career, I think Archie did all that he could do - he fought a great fight, imo.

    With old (future) Arch in his corner, “Doc” Moore might call the fight sooner to save his man (save himself), having recollected how a Marciano punch in round 9 perforated his ear drum **, his ear never being right ever since.

    No improvement to the outcome but he could cut his losses, retaining full function of both ears going forward. :D

    ** The perforated ear drum is merely fictitious free licence

    No, Archie later described Marciano's style as wam, bam, I don't give a da#n . His chance slipped away after the Mongoose dropped Rocky in round 1 and Marciano escaped .And he was dazed.....
