There is certainly a desire on these boards to paint Davidson as a bum, but that was not the case. He was not a genuine contender but certainly a force on the fringe. He KOed future contender John Holman and decisioed Whitehurst. He also beat Toxie Hall and KOed Marty Marshall twice. His last knockout win against Marshall came before his big 12 fight win streak that included wins over super punchers, Liston and Satterfield. Davidson has stoppage losses to Henry, Baker, Toxie, and Moore. This Moore KO is by far the most devestating. Not a great fighter but certainly a tough dangerous customer. Moore was outweighed by well over 30 lbs.
