I'll look for it but there is a video out there with an interview of Moore who was going on about Marciano being the bigger man in their fight. Ive heard and it's true.

You are correct it wasn't a flash knockdown but a good one. Was the ref protecting Marciano illegally or was it like the ref in the Usyk-Fury bout?

I've done three DNA tests and 23andme is best for ethnicity but Ancestry does a good job of connecting you to possible relatives. It sure connected me to known cousins down to the 3rd level.

I've always felt 23andme did a better job of connecting you to relatives. I had one cousin who was as close as third, the rest were 4th to 6th. It actually connected me to many family friends, including people my father met long ago and cultural gatherings.

I think the referee ,like Marciano ,forgot the 8 standing count rule was waived for title fights. Marciano was a whopping quarter of a pound heavier than Moore.

As an extra Moore was brought in as an advisor for the Holmes camp when he fought Michael Spinks. There was loads of talk about Marciano as Holmes was chasing his record, and also talk of light heavyweights winning the heavyweight crown. Suddenly, for the first time, Archie Moore started telling a story about the whole ref interfering had kept him from winning. Don Dunphy was extremely critical of Moore trying to rewrite and a few extremely valid old timers come forward in an interview (Moore may have been among them, or not)and said he'd never ever claimed as such.
