Moore of his light heavy title years stepping up to face the cruiser version of Dwight. These two loved a battle, so let's throw em together. 15 round s.
Moore was a ATG LHW in a division rich in depth . Braxton was good but not great. Even though this fight is at CW Moore is a class above. Moore on pts.
Archie could move up and down the weight scales from LtHeavy to Heavyweight. Archie (196 lbs) beat a good Nino Valdez (207 lbs) in a 15 round "title shot eliminator", before Moore took on Marciano. Archie would outpoint Dwght M.
I actually see Moore stopping Dwight in the late round s. Dwight will do well at the beginning, throwing caution to the wind and steaming in to Moore. He'll take Archie out of his stride and win a good portion of the first 6 rounds. Then Moore will step up a notch. Dwight will still be rumbling forward but Moore will be doing the better work with the harder punches. Some point in the later stages, Moore will connect with a savage uppercut which drop s him. Dwight shakes his head with the power of the punch. Moore will drop him again so hard the crowd think Dwight s been shot! And that s it, it's over.
Wow! I didn't believe this would be quite so one sided even in a small sample size consensus? Love both guys but would pick the Camden Buzzsaw in an exciting back and forth fight. I wouldn't be shocked if Moore won...although I don't think Either guy would be getting ko'd. I think Moore is the greater fighter just not the better one h2h
This is a fight where Archie takes a beating, but for rounds he is planning how to time the incoming. He may stop Qawi while losing on the cards. He may lose a decision with Qawi being busier and landing more power punches. Qawi has the power and aggression to beat Moore pillar to post, but not knock him out. Moore has the proven timing and power to make it his fight at any time. This is another great matchup. Could go either way. At least seemingly.
Great matchup. Archie is one of the top 175 pounders in history. Dwight is excellent as well. Gotta go with Archie in a real tough fight.
