WHO wins this fight archie fought well into his 40's and i think is the greates @175. so how would old man river match up with the origanl old man river THE mongoose vs the Exacutioner. who wins and lets make it 15 rd since everybody say B-hop is a throw back tough as nails fighter. both are 2 of my favorite fighters. re did the thread and poll to open it back up to get a sense if opinions have changed since the pavlik win for B-hop. Hopkins could trouble Moore with better movement and speed, but Moore was so crafty himself, so accurate with his punches and so deceptive. He'd hurt Hopkins at some point, and in a 15 round fight, he would stop him, just too good of a finisher at his best, even though B-Hop's defense and chin would make it a little difficult.
Think B-Hop was good enough that Moore wouldn't stop him, regardless of him being one of the greatest punchers of all time.

nah. archie moores a legend no disrespect to him, i just think fighters have advanced and became more athletic and just better all together.. i dont see how archie moore would beat hopkins. maybe he would though.. but if he cant get them punches off whats left off him, hopkins has got a lot of skills. and the amir khan avators a pisstake, its on google images
I assumed as much lol. Well, fair enough point about old fighters....just think guys like Moore are exceptions. I think they'd do just fine in todays boxing, and if we're taking both guys in their old age, it would be a cagey affair with Moore doing just enough to win. Don't know if this B-Hop could do 15 rounds but then again, he's full of surprises nowadays.
