In my opinion this is the worst match that can be made for Archie. This would look very similar to the Ezzard Charles third fight. Bob is too clever and too hard hitting for the mongoose.

I think stylistically foster would be made for archie, I think archie takes him out in round 8. i disagree funny man. Archie thrived against tall fighters with good jabs like nino valdez. Bob foster fought nothing like ezzard charles

No one is more clever than archie, its not even close

Archie! both about on a par for power ,with Foster having the better one punch ko shot. Moore was much better at taking a punch he wins because of his superior durability.imo.

I dont know about that, moore straight right hand is as powerful as they get. I think many people here simply have not seen moores best knockouts on film. You ever see archies knockout of embrell davidson?

And with 120 plus K.O.s, nobody hit harder then Moore. This would be an interesting match though. Two big punchers, one tall, long arms, good but not a great boxer. The other, inteligent, crafty, great counter puncher with power to spare. And remeber Archie holds a decision over Nino Valdez,no mean feat.

No but I was ringside when Foster kod Finnegan with his right ,not his best punch.I give the one punch power edge to Foster ,but he doesn't beat Archie.

Im not questioning fostes power at all, the man hit like no other. Just questioning peoples opinions of archies power if they have not seen his best knockouts on film.

Ok, i dont like using the 'if they fought a series' angle, infact, this is my first time doing so, but i might have to here, on their best nights i'll go with Moore, however, Foster CAN beat Moore i believe, Foster, though his resume is not great, was a great h2h 175er imo. And i know that Moore fans will say im disrespecting Moore (the truth is i'd never dream of it, most of you guys should know this), but it wasnt just the great light-heavy's of the day that beat him.

Moore was a good puncher, but not in Fosters league. I think because Moore was a better finisher is why he ran up such a huge KO list. He could be KO'ed, and Foster's left hook would be the punch to do it. In my opinion the only 2 Lt heavys that could beat Foster were Spinks and Conn.

I go for boxer over puncher, so Moore (who was also a puncher)
