in 90 something fights he only got Kayoed 8 times, yeah all of that is true. Once against the greatest of all time. True. Two times with one of the hardest punchers in history. True.

But you missed out Another time was against a 25lb lighter guy who was losing fights when williams was 33-1. And that the last 5 times was really during a spell where he experienced a step up in class from the guys he he could actually beat who were really a selection of guys anybody half decent would beat ...or the cast from skid row.

Outside of the men who knocked him out Williams never recorded anything on paper to bother Archie Moore.

Much of his record is padded with knockover guys Primo Carneras team would have rejected for being too frail.

yeah but none of them were decked by sly jones or Mel Turnbow or Bob Mashburn.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention one of the hardest punchers of all time whom Williams fought with a 2 day notice at 20 years old. Not even old enough to buy a beer. You're really grasping at straws!
He also got shot and barely escaped with his life. I'm sure that may have had a slight effect on his later fights.

Yeah Frazier was to busy getting dropped by Mike Bruce. Moore was also getting kod by Eddie Booker Jimmy bivins and Leonard Morrow in one round. Tell me in your honest opinion (If even possible that is) do you think any of these men are better than Williams?

You obviously have no idea of the true meaning of the bolded despite rattling it off multiple times of late. Also be aware such abbreviations have got multiple posters banned. Where would the forum be without it's weekly dose of chok?

Was Williams better than Booker, Bivins and Leonard Morrow? I should think Bivins would be far too tough for Williams.

I honestly don’t know enough about Morrow or Booker having not seen film of them.

On paper I wouldn’t rule them out though since knocking out Moore would make them quite dangerous opponents for anybody.

Williams was better than mike Bruce though.

That’s about normal when a guy has had as many fights as Archie had. 25 of 220 fights? It’s only a fraction.

People get annoyed when I list some of the amusing names Williams fought. But we both know there are a lot more of these types on Williams ledger.

40 nobodies is a tiny representation from 220 fights. If it was 40 nobodies. But you have listed some with winning records too. And some of them were more decent than some might think. Rusty Payne was decent. Some were undefeated too. It’s probably closer to 25 gimmies than 40. Nothing unusual percentage wise to anyone else really.

That’s a misprint. It’s supposed to read “Back Pain”. Some records include illness between fights.
