Plenty of his opponents were willing to provide the opportunity to fight Williams more than once.

Billy Daniels fought him twice. Terrell fought him twice. Ray banks fought him twice. Roosevelt Holmes fought him twice. Sylvester Jones fought him twice. Liston fought him twice.mac Foster fought him twice. Ponce Deleon fought him twice.

Williams was a very busy heavyweight.

You have no way of knowing if the following were prepared to fight him when he was a ranked heavyweight.
    Cooper
    Folley
    Patterson
    Johannson
    Mildenberger
    Jones
    Lavorante
    Moore
Given Patterson's and Coopers managers actions I would say no and you could include Mildenberger too.Williams v any of them were fights he might have won.I'd certainly pick him to ko Cooper and Mildenberger.

There is absolutely nothing to base that on. Zero. Cooper sparked Richardson out yet Williams only won by disqualification against him after getting headbutted. Then Williams disgraced himself by walking out on a rematch in front of Richardson’s fans complaining of hearing voices in his head.

Like @klompton2 says where are these knockouts that Cleveland had over elite men?

    Why isn’t anyone answering him??

I never said he had ko's over elite men ,my position is that it doesn't mean he wasn't capable of achieving them given the chance , or that he was deficient in punching power. FFS his prime was cut short by a bullet!
Cooper and his manager Wicks would not have gone anywhere near Williams and everybody knows it!
Richardson fouled out to Williams to save himself from a hiding!

Moore seemed like he would have a lot of “kee busy” or warm up fights. It worked for him. He ducked no one and fought everyone practically.

Yeah I’d say so. But I don’t think anyone really gives him credit for those wins. Most fighters have like 30-40 pct junk on their resume. He really just always wanted to stay busy it seemed. I base him as a HW off his solid wins Nino, Harold Johnson, Satterfield, Baker and Maxim are all real solid wins mixed in with mediocre wins like Davis whitehurst and a load of others. It’s hard to pick apart Archies wins because he has a lot of em but he admittedly also has some questionable losses. To me that’s why people laugh when they think of him as a HW but realistically he has an amazing HW resume when broken down. He makes the top 15 HWs ever as far as beating prime opponents (number of wins I believe don’t have boxing by the numbers in front of me interesting book).

Moore was a good enough heavy to beat
    Bivins
    Baker
    Lavorante
    Valdes
    Henry
    Slade
    Lovell
    Sys
    Muscato
    Payne
    Sheppard
    Besmanoff

Whitehurst and Dunlap lost about a third of their fights. Maxim and Johnson were inside the Lhvy limit, as was Satterfield.

Maxim and Johnson were rated top ten guys at one point or another. Johnson’s wins are impressive as well at HW. Not sure if Satterfield was ever rated top ten?

Lol I thought you were mistaken because he had a lot of fights at HW those years and LHW it appears. Back and forth like crazy must have been exhausting. To me it doesn’t discount the wins as they were all decent HWs and LHWs

You can't include the wins over Johnson,Maxim, or Satterfield as heavyweight wins, since they were all inside the lhvy limit.
On a positive note, his 3 defeats to Charles were all at lhvy too.
