If Moore smelled a knock-out, then yeah, he isn't the all time KO king for nothing. At any rate, I think he'd be more agressive than Hopkins was in general.

Its great to hear the guys who know what the hell they are talking about respond to a thread. Only the informed and historians of the game can accurately respond to this one. Which has kept the level of idiocy you usually read to a minimum. I too believe Moore would KO Joe C. There are a slew of very good and great Light Heavys that would also beat him.

I voted Moore by ko. No comparrison in competition. Calzaghe is very good champ, but Archie Moore was great, fought in tougher era IMO and look a this record compared to Calzaghes. I don' tknow if question is serious, or menat to demean Calzaghe by making an unfair copmarison.

If Calzaghe can defend title several times against top, and take on a few cruiser or heavyweights in between fights, then we can make a comparison. I like Calzaghe, he beat Hopkins, is good fighter, but not ready to be compared to Moore.

Jones Jr couldn't KO lesser fighters like Hopkins and Gonzalez, since when would he stop Calzaghe.

    Calzaghe just beat Hopkins.
