I see Moore by late round, sudden stoppage while down on the cards but I also see Jones UD. If Moore times him and lands that big one, it could be the beginning of the end for Jones. What do you say?

I see Moore by ko 4. Much like Bobo. Too smàrt. WAY too much firepower for Roy's chinny chin chin.

Moore always had trouble with very fast fighters at every stage of his career. Burley, Charles, Patterson and of course Ali. Roy is the poster boy for very fast. Roy can spoil his way out of trouble, though im not sure how hed deal with Archies strength. Roy by UD, maybe a modern era stoppage.

Hard to judge Moore of the 50's, The Ol' Mongoose, a Methuselah. Moore knows he can't outspeed, or catch Jones in a footrace, so he will have to trick Roy to come inside. In a one-fight scenario, Moore, way behind in the fight, catches Roy late in the 13th of 15 round fight and brutally k.o.'s him. In a 3 fight scenario, Roy wins 2/3 by decision.

Archie sets traps and sooner or later that Jones habit of having his hands that low costs him.

I to see a win for Archie. Maybe even suffering a couple of kds early in the fight. But Moore keeps up the pressure and finally breaks through late, sending Jones to the canvas hard.

Can you see Jones taking the pounding that Archie took from Durelle in Montreal in 1958...and then coming back to win? Me neither!!! Moore by KO...

Roy was slippery and lightening fast for a bigger man. He had enough firepower that you couldn't just walk through him. Jones on points.

Durelle wouldnt touch Jones. He would make him look like eric Lucas!

Im not saying moore has no chance, because he can not be counted out against anyone..... but your argumentation is not sound at all.
Its like saying "I cant see floyd mayweather survive the pounding that mickey ward took from gatti and come back to win so micky ward knocks floyd out!"

Please tell me youre either under 12 or over 90 Years old...

I think Roy wins a decision in a boring fight, he can't afford to let Archie get near him and jabs and pokes his way to a UD.

If I thought Jones could take Moore's power better, I'd pick Jones, but with Moore's punching power and his ability to lure his prey into a KO, I don't know. Imagine if Moore landed that uppercut on Jones chin that he dropped Marciano with?

100 of 200 Fights says NO!

where as 20 of 45 fights say yes.

RJJ is THEE Example I always use in Era vs era... the Roy that was getting Ko'd, Beaten and his immortality stripped.., Well; "How Much Sooner would that have happened in Moore's SCHEDUAL?

Good fight, But 7 of 10 times Moore by stoppage/KO... Junior 'might' find a victory or two. Might!

You have a point about how old time fighters tended to fight a lot more, hence more opportunities to pick up losses. Especially taking fights on short notice, not having film to study opponents etc
