On paper, Moore is the "guy most likely" to starch Roy for me.

He's go a great technical defence and toughness married to a really good chin, and going the other way, he's amongst the greatest knockout artists of all time who specialises in traps with enough power to dust off good chins, never mind questionable ones. Over 12 or 15 I just don't think that Roy, however fast and good he is, can stay out of trouble for that length of time. I'd be picking Moore by sudden and devastating one punch knockout around the 10th.

Roy's best chance is to fight extremely aggressively and look for a very fast knockout, attack head on and trust his magical reflexes and handspeed to win a shootout for him.

Very tough call. I could just as easily see Roy getting starched as I could see him pot-shotting Moore all night en route to a comfortable decision win, at least over 12.

Take a look at what Archie does to big Embrell Davidson again. The Mongoose needs just one shot to put Roy out for the count, and it can come from either hand. Moore is not Ruiz when it comes to connecting for the finish. And he's not above going down and feigning distress just to lure his prey in.

You reckon Moore had a very good chin McGrain?

I dunno, i watch fights like the Marciano one and consider the level of opposition and i can see it.But then i think about him going down 500 times in all possible manners against a wide variety of very good fighters despite having an all-time great skillset, power and style that should be conducive to not getting dropped much(ie Toney).

The old ******* just confuses me.

Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised by a knockout of either man.

Moore showed he has a beard against Marciano. There is no way RJJ is stopping him.

Moore has the KO power to stop RJJ with a single punch.

Can RJJ potshot for 12 rounds to a win like he did against Ruiz? I don't think so. Moore is a skilled fighter who would eventually stop Jones or would win on points if RJJ was on his bike the entire fight.
