Certainly up there at the top.
Yvon certainly gave old Archie a scare or three!

Truly a ‘you’re going to have to kill me to beat me’ effort by Moore. In addition to his skill, power and off-the-charts ring IQ, this left it beyond all doubt that Archie also had one of the greatest fighting hearts in ring history.

He proved it big time in that fight.
Old Archie suffered too many hard years to lose his title, he HAD to climb up.

Prime example of an ‘if I’m going to have to go to hell to keep this title tonight, might as well start walking’ attitude.

As far as a high level championship fight, I would say yes or at least top three. The best fight at 175 that I can recall was one I watched live on ESPN Friday night fights back in the early 2000's between Julien Letterlough and Julio Cesear Gonzalez. Neither man is with us anymore but what they achieved against each other that night will never be forgotten as long as old pugs like me are still around.

Matthew Franklin vs Marvin Johnson 1&2 also belong at the top of the list
