Is it just me or did Moore look spectacular in this fight? Reflexes were razor sharp, speed is outstanding. Moore was 41 years old for this fight.

This rematch could be one of the greatest displays on film, the pinpoint punching adding to the fact Moore was really old. But regardless of age, I can't think of a more intelligent destruction. Archie demonstrated innate skill in counter punching and manipulated the flow of Durelle and his balance.

This is why Moore is in my top five punchers.

The best I've ever seen Archie including when he ko'd Johnson. It would have been interesting had this Archie shown up for the Patterson bout. The accuracy of his short and long right hands really impressed me.

Very stylish the way he finds angles for it at different ranges too.

Guy like Patterson is utter kryptonite for an aging fighter, no matter how skilled. He had to burn everything that fades with age.

Archie against Durelle is a revelation. Power and strength are overrated virtues in this sport. Moore renders Yvon's considerable gifts totally meaningless with all the subtle skill of a master.
